Introducing the Volksubishi - new road safety campaign launches

More examples after the jump!

Pretty impressed by this outdoor campaign for Road Safety Hawkes Bay by Ogilvy NZ. A very graphic illustration of the outcome of a poor decision at an intersection. The ads will be seen in print and on billboards by intersections. I have always wondered where the line is on advertising on road safety billboards - doesn't this just add to driver distractions?

I hope this is rolled out nationally - especially given the planned change to NZ road laws relating to intersections in March 2012. Extra care will need to be taken to avoid real examples of these hybrids.

  1. Hi I am contacting you in regards to the post below. This isn't our advertising as indicated, I am not sure of the origin of it either. Our billboards that we post go through a very strict process on what we can use and not. Just letting you know, thank you and kind regards. Have a great day.......Linda Anderson (Road Safe Hawkes Bay)
